I don't know how important this is compared to the rest of the mod, but I assume here would be a good spot to talk about the radio stations and the songs that could go on it, as well as each station & genre and stuff. Below I did a list with some of my favorite songs in German for each genre of music that I could make into a station for GTA Berlin. My one area of concern is that I don't know exactly how similar German radio stations are like to American ones, if they have commercials or not, etc. but hey, hopefully I'll find out soon.

Holy shit, you do know a thing or two about Germany. 
Problem is all these songs are subject to copyright blahblah and we don't want to get our hands dirty with that kinda stuff. Creative Commons might offer a way forward; we actually have one custom radio station already: 66,6 car fm. Check the one but last news!
Generally speaking though I think it's fair to say our priority has been to get going with the map. After all, listening to radio stations is only half the fun in an empty space.

Why thanks, it helps when you hate the music from your country and start looking into other countries :V
I see your concern, but it's an unfounded one. For starters, the record companies won't get after us so long as we aren't making a profit, which we aren't since this is all free. And secondly, I've made stations for other mods before and none of them got any subpoenas yet, so either record companies know of my first point, or they just have more things to deal with other than some people making a mod. And I'll have to check that station out sometime.
True, the map is more important and stuff. I just posted this here to speculate on what the stations would be, in time once it's a priority. Hell, I don't mind doing them and getting them made up. I just need someone who speaks fluent German to play the host and wham, it's all good. Unless I need commercials done. But aren't radio stations there commercial free?
