  Logo-Download

Da wir ja mittlerweile einige neue Moddeler hier begrüßen dürfen, die ihre Texturen auch noch selber erstellen, hier eine Hilfe für euch:



Die alle gibt's jetzt in einer 8mb großen PSD (Photoshop Document) HIER zum runterladen. (Das Original ist natürlich ein wenig größer)
Wenn ihr Fragen bezüglich eines Logos habt, nur zu.
- Die Logos mit farbigem Hintergrund müssen unbedingt mit dieser Hintergrundfarbe verwendet werden!

Wenn euch ein's nicht groß genug ist, stell ich das auch gerne in größer einzeln hier rein.
Alle zum freien benutzen, allerdings nur mit Bezug auf BM, nicht für andere Projekte.

Gimp ist Open Source Software (also legal & umsonst & politisch korrekter) und kann mit den meisten PSD-Dateien umgehen. Handling ist sehr ähnlich wie Photoshop - die Funktionen nicht ganz so weit entwickelt aber sehr brauchbar.

I dunno why, but I'd like to think "Opus" would be a better parody for Opel than "Opal". It seems a lot more subtle and "grounded" than changing a letter in the name. That and Live is Life

Are there parodies for Vita Cola, Deutsche Bahn and Barkas/IFA yet?

Hello universetwisters,

the brand "Opal" i didn't create on my own. The GTA:Berlin Demo for San Andreas already has it integrated and I joined the project 2 years ago. I have only adopted that brand for the new GTA:Berlin. In my opinion the name "Opal" isn't totally wrong, because without the "L" it's called "Opa" what does mean "Grandfather" in German, acutally the most "Opel" owners are over 50 years old.

Btw the word "opal" still exist, it's latin and has different meanings:

1: In Australia it's a replacement of unleaded gas
2: matt light bulb
3: it's a mineral and gemstone

Opus is latin, too, but still means "work"

For the East German brands "Vita Cola" and the union of companies for vehicle construction "IFA" we still don't have parodies, the same to the GDR minibus Barkas.
Our railroad company Deutsche Bahn AG/DBAG might be still parodied by someone other, but Idk really. You should ask the administation Trabbi 601S has worked on the Berlin Main Station, maybe he used a parody of the DB. In the San Andreas Demo you can see the original DB brand on the Friedrichstraße Station building, but we shouldn't use them in our next versions. Copyright

Vita Cola = Citra Cola? (Vita Cola's supposed to be very Citrisey)

I dunno if IFA would need a parody, one since it's a state owned entity of the former GDR, and second if it would even need one since it doesn't exist anymore. Maybe DDA (Deutsche Demokratische Auto?)

I think, for Deutsche Bahn "Deutsche Eisenbahn Gesellschaft" would be better, about East German Brands like Vita Cola, IFA, Nudossi and so on, we should think about names later, because we need a base now. IFA doesn't exist anymore, like a few other East German brands, but the rights about the names and icons, logos and so on are owned by other companies, e.g. the East German Gas Station MINOL now all rights are owned by the ELF-Total Company, the most rights of vehicle brands and names are owned by social clubs, one example Trabant, now owned by InterTrab e.V.
(btw the only vehicle brand, what has survived the political turning is Multicar (maybe MuFuFa - Multifunktionsfahrzeug in this project))

Please focus the buildings now, such things like name we should talk about later. Now other things are more important and need to be finished
